Senior Moving Help for Families Who Need More Than a Moving Truck
Living Well Senior Logistics is not the moving truck. We are a small, family-run senior transition service that helps families in Ocean County, Monmouth County, and nearby New Jersey towns organize, prepare, coordinate, and support the move from first conversation through setup in the new home.
Why senior moves are different from ordinary moves
There are decades of belongings, family memories, and emotional decisions — not just furniture to load. Adult children may live out of state. A parent may be moving to assisted living with specific room limits. The move needs planning and care, not just muscle.
How we help before move day
Move Planning Visits, room-by-room sorting plans, timelines, and plain-English checklists help families know what to tackle first. We can start weeks before movers arrive so move day is about execution, not panic.
How we help with belongings and family decisions
We support sorting, photo inventory for siblings who cannot be there, and clear categories: keep, give to family, donate, sell, store, or dispose. We organize and document — we do not decide legal ownership or mediate family disputes.
How we help coordinate vendors and move-day details
We coordinate with independent moving companies, donation pickups, and other vendors as needed. On move day, we focus on logistics — what goes where, what needs to be set up first, and keeping the process calm for your loved one.
How we help with unpacking and resettling
After boxes arrive, we help unpack, set up the bedroom and bathroom, place familiar items, and make the new space feel livable. Many families tell us this is the part they did not realize they needed most.
What we do not do
We are not a licensed moving company, medical provider, legal advisor, estate appraiser, or real estate broker. We provide planning, organizing, coordination, and resettling support — and work with independent vendors when needed.
